Assistant Controller

Exploration & Production Company is seeking an Assistant Controller that has experience with Oil & Gas revenue and a strong technical accounting work history. This role will assist in overseeing staff in operational accounting to include: month-end close, financial reporting and audits. This position is a part of a high energy team with a terrific Controller as a mentor. 

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Accounting degree required
• Minimum 3 yrs. of public accounting to be the liaison for audit
• Minimum 7 yrs. of total exp.  
• Oil and Gas industry experience required.
• SEC exp. preferred
• ERP exp. necessary
• CPA desired.
• Must have experience in revenue accounting, invoicing, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
