Harder Consulting is accepting resumes for a credit manager position to assist our Client’s operations in extending credit and monitoring credit. Our client believes in a close relationship with customers, and wants you to foster relationships with small companies in the South Texas area. This position works specifically with smaller customers who may not have established credit, or who may need closer monitoring than large clients.

 

In this position, you will evaluate new customers before extending credit, monitor existing customers for continued creditworthiness, and contact customers to resolve issues around billing discrepancies, payment terms, late payments, etc. Occasional travel will be required, and a candidate who is placed in this position may participate in system implementations and upgrades that affect the credit department.

 

Candidates who wish to be considered for this position must have 5+ years in a Fortune 500 credit environment, and in the South Texas territory. Candidates must also have experience evaluating credit for smaller companies. Preference will be given to individuals with certifications, or who are eligible for their MBA, CPA, CTP, etc. Candidates who have experience in the oilfield industry or experience with SAP will receive special consideration.
