Senior Auditor, Houston

Our client is a leader in the oilfield services industry and is looking for a Senior Auditor to plan and execute audits in locations throughout the US and internationally. In this job, you will:

• Work with the Audit Manager
• Execute audit plan along with other auditing team members
• Keep up to date on technical reporting standards
• Take an active role in financial audits and control testing
• Identify internal control weaknesses and process improvements
• Define proper controls to counteract control deficiencies
• Travel up to 70% of the time.
• After18-24 months, you will rotate out of this department and into an operations accounting role 

 

Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years in Big 4 public accounting firm in the audit department. He or she will be CPA, CIA, or CA certified, or will be making progress towards one of these certifications. And if you’re looking to see the world, this is the job for you—a candidate must be mobile and open to moving to different cities in the US and possibly to other countries within the organization within a few years
